Precision Machined Parts

Simulation Designs is a leading provider of precision machined components for space applications in Satellites and commercial launch vehicles.

Custom made housings for on board satellite electronics is our specialty. These are machined out of Aluminum and aluminum magnesium and include connector mounting opening, inserts for P.C.B. mounting. These are made with a high geometrical tolerance of 0.03mm flatness and perpendicularity.

Spacecraft mechanisms such as solar panel mechanism are also our specialty. Several different configurations have been made successfully from titanium and aluminum alloys.

Communication antennas and wave guide have been made for communication and imaging purposes. These have a very high degree of flatness and the inner surfaces are polished, for better wave propagation.

Tooling - Jigs / Fixtures

We have produced components/TOOLING for Structural items such as honeycomb panel assemblies. Also custom CFRP tooling has been developed for structural applications such as various kinds of brackets, etc.
